These structures can be viewed as monuments to the hyper productive age that spawned the largest period of growth in the history of civilization, or as a testament to our disregard for the environment that sustains us. These structures are now being dismantled and dissolved by an environment that some view as angry. In my opinion, this process is a most natural one that is powerful and renewing. Two of these paintings are of a complex of buildings where Pierce-Arrow automobiles were produced in Buffalo, New York. |

My landscapes are of the intense natural beauty of the area I live and places I've traveled. My industrial paintings are also depictions of nature, the natural decay of our industrial age and the process of nature reclaiming the materials we use to build. There is great beauty in rust and decay. I feel fortunate to live in such a visually stimulating area of this little blue planet. |
